Brewers Bring In Josh Lindblom
5 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers agreed to a three-year, $9.125 million deal with pitcher Josh Lindblom on Wednesday. Lindblom, 32, pitched most of the last five seasons in the Korean Baseball Organization. He worked as a starter overseas and was 20-3 with a 2.50 ERA in 30 starts in 2019 for the Doosan Bears, setting the franchise record with 189 K's in 194 2/3 innings. As a result, he was named the MVP of the league. Lindblom went 35-7 with a 2.68 ERA in 56 starts with 346 strikeouts and 67 walks in 363 1/3 innings in two seasons with Doosan. With Milwaukee losing Jordan Lyles, Gio Gonzalez, Chase Anderson and Zach Davies this offseason, Lindblom figures to have a spot in the starting rotation and could be a fantasy sleeper if he translates his success back to U.S. soil.
