5 years agoThe Detroit Tigers are showing interest in catcher Robinson Chirinos, according to a source. With Grayson Greiner and prospect Jake Rogers currently on roster, the Tigers would probably be looking at a short deal with Chirinos until Rogers is ready for the everyday role. Chirinos hit .238/.347/.443 with 17 long balls and 58 RBI in 366 at-bats for the Astros in 2019. He's a very streaky hitter but does have decent pop at the thinnest fantasy position in baseball. However, moving away from hitter-friendly Houston and that potent lineup wouldn't do him any favors in the fantasy realm.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
