John Ross Will Have A Role In Week 14
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said wide receiver John Ross (collarbone), who was activated from Injured Reserve on Tuesday, won't be on a pitch count in Week 14 against the Browns, but he's also looking to keep the receiver fresh. "We will have to ease him back in. He hasn’t played in a while," offensive coordinator Brian Callahan said. "He is healthy. He’s been practicing and practicing well. We’ve been pushing him back to the point where we felt like he’s ready to play." The speedy deep threat has the team's longest pass play of the year (66 yards) and should help open up things for the entire offense. Ross had three touchdowns in four games before getting hurt and can score at any moment, but he'll be a risky fantasy option in the first round of the playoffs in his first game back if he has his snaps limited. His return is bad news for Auden Tate as the No. 3 wideout.
