Jordan Scarlett Placed On Injured Reserve
5 years agoThe Carolina Panthers placed rookie running back Jordan Scarlett (knee) on Injured Reserve on Friday and signed offensive lineman Brad Lundblade to the active roster from the practice squad in a corresponding move. Scarlett, a fifth-round pick, only had four carries for nine yards on Oct. 27 against the 49ers for his only action in his rookie season. With Christian McCaffrey locked in as the bell-cow back for this offense for years to come, it'll be an uphill battle for Scarlett to see much playing time unless there's an injury. Reggie Bonnafon will be the handcuff for McCaffrey owners the rest of the way.
