John Tavares Picks Up Two Points On Wednesday
5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center John Tavares scored a goal and added an assist during Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings. The performance ended a four-game pointless drought for Tavares. The 29-year-old has looked a bit rusty at times due to the injury he suffered at the start of the season, but Wednesday's outing may get him back on track. He has seven goals, nine assists, and five power-play points through 19 games. Tavares remains an elite fantasy asset, and his value will only increase when Mitch Marner (ankle) returns from injury.
