Moritz Wagner Dominates With 30-15 Line
5 years agoWashington Wizards center Moritz Wagner had a career-best performance in his team's victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. In just 25 minutes, the 22-year-old posted 30 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block. Wagner was uber-efficient, shooting 13 of 15 from the field and making all four triples. The former Michigan Wolverine has set the nets on fire through 10 games, shooting 63.2 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from deep. His issues with foul trouble, 4.1 fouls per game, and the emergence of Thomas Bryant, have likely limited him to just 18.5 minutes per game. Still, his efficiency and versatility may earn him more playing time. He's worth a look on the waiver wire.
