5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley (finger) underwent surgery on his fractured finger and will likely miss a few games, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Staley had just returned on Monday night from a fractured leg, so it's a tough break for both the veteran and San Francisco's offensive line. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was under constant pressure from the Seahawks even with Staley in there in Week 10, but things won't get easier now that Staley is back on the sidelines for a while. It may not matter in Week 11 against the Cardinals, but Garoppolo will be a mediocre QB2 and could be missing his top two receivers in George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
