Raheem Mostert Expected To Play Thursday Night
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan believes that running back Raheem Mostert (knee) will be able to play on Thursday night against the Cardinals. With Matt Breida (ankle) also expected to suit up behind Tevin Coleman, that won't leave much work for Mostert, even with San Fran sporting the NFL's No. 2-ranked running game at 181.1 yards per game. Mostert will only see valuable touches in the backfield if one of Coleman or Breida are injured against Arizona. Those that picked Mostert up this week hoping that Breida wouldn't play will be bummed, but he's still worth holding in deeper leagues in case an injury occurs ahead of him.
