Luka Doncic Has First Bad Game Of The Season
5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic had his first dud of the season in a 109-106 win over the Denver Nuggets. Coming into the game, Doncic was averaging 29.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. However, on Tuesday night he was held to just 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals in the Mile High City. Doncic was involved in a collision with Nuggets guard Gary Harris midway through the first quarter when they both dove for a loose ball, so fantasy owners will have to wait and see if he picked up an injury that may have affected his performance. He has been a stud so far this season, so one bad game out of four is not setting off any alarm bells for Doncic owners. Doncic has three days to rest up before a Friday night matchup against a Los Angeles Lakers back court that should be a favorable matchup for the second-year player.
