Latavius Murray Could Have Huge Workload In Week 8
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray was magnificent last week filling in for injured starter Alvin Kamara (ankle) against the Chicago Bears. The 29-year-old ran for 119 yards on a career-high 27 rushing attempts, added 31 receiving yards and had two touchdowns. Murray could be looking at another large workload against the Arizona Cardinals, considering starter Alvin Kamara wasn't able to practice on Wednesday. The Cardinals Defense is giving up 4.7 yards per carry to opposing backs, tied for 24th in the NFL. Murray replaced the injured Dalvin Cook last year against the Cardinals and gashed their defense for 155 rushing yards and a touchdown. The seventh-year veteran is an RB2 with upside in Week 8.
