Aaron Hicks To Undergo Tommy John Surgery
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery on Oct. 30 and will be out for eight to 10 months, according to general manager Brian Cashman. Hicks was sidelined for a lot of the second half with his elbow injury, but he returned in the postseason. The 30-year-old switch-hitter has put up numbers across the board for fantasy owners when he's healthy, but the problem is he has a tough time staying on the field for long periods of time. Expected to miss around half of the 2020 season, his fantasy value will obviously take a big hit with this news. He finished 2019 hitting .235/.325/.443 with 12 home runs and 36 RBI in just 221 at-bats.
