Adrian Peterson, Steven Sims Questionable Against Vikings
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) and wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. (toe) were both limited in practice on Wednesday and are questionable for Thursday night against the Vikings. Peterson is dealing with a high ankle sprain, so it seems unlikely he'll be able to play on Thursday despite the fact that he insists he's fine. Even if he does play, the veteran will likely be scaled back and will be a very risky RB3/flex against one of the better run-stopping units in the league. Chris Thompson (toe) will miss another game, so Wendell Smallwood would see most of the backfield duties against Minnesota if Peterson is also ruled out. Smallwood would be an RB4/flex in deeper leagues. Sims has only eight catches for 33 yards on the year, so he's not on the fantasy radar. You can't trust any receiver for Washington in fantasy outside of rookie Terry McLaurin.
