5 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Eric Sogard (foot) has made the roster for the American League Division Series against the Astros, while first baseman Jesus Aguilar and infielder Nathaniel Lowe weren't included. Sogard hasn't played since Sept. 15 and isn't in the starting lineup for Game 1 on Friday, but he'll provide a valuable bat and glove off the bench and could see some starts in this series. The 33-year-old hit an impressive .290/.353/.457 with 13 homers, 59 runs, 40 RBI and eight steals in 396 at-bats with the Blue Jays and Rays this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
