Seth Curry 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry returns to the Mavericks of whom he suited up for from 2016-18 after spending last season Portland. The Mavs see value in Curry as he did post 12.8 points for them back in 2016-17 before sitting out all of the 2017-18 season due to injury. Many of the starting positions in Dallas are still in the air as per coach Carlisle, so there is a slim chance we could see Curry getting a starting nod as the Mavs were in need of shooters to spread the floor. Either way, we should see Curry improve on last season's 7.9 points in just 18.9 minutes a night. Curry still provided an elite shooting split which we can assume will be present again this season, while we should see his scoring hike back up to double digits with possibly a couple triples a night. He will not provide many eye-popping lines, but he will not hurt you anywhere either from the guard spots. He is definitely worth a pick in the later rounds for sure.
