5 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios will start Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Yankees on Friday. Berrios was the team's best pitcher this year, so it's a no-brainer decision. He went 14-8 with a 3.68 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 195 K's in 200 1/3 innings over 32 starts. Berrios also allowed 26 home runs (1.2 homers per nine innings). The right-hander didn't face the Yankees this year and posted a 3.84 ERA with 15 homers allowed in 103 innings in 17 road starts. If he can keep the ball in the yard at Yankee Stadium he could be good, but Berrios is a risky DFS pick in this one.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
