5 years agoHouston Astros manager A.J. Hinch said that shortstop Carlos Correa (back) is expected to play in Game 1 of the American League Division Series against either the A's or Rays on Friday. Correa hit, threw and took swings against reliever Will Harris on Wednesday and reported feeling great. The 25-year-old has battled injuries again this year but has managed to hit .279/.358/.568 with 21 home runs, 42 runs and 59 RBI in 280 at-bats. Correa missed the final few games of the regular season, but he should be a staple in Houston's postseason lineup as long as he can stay healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
