Redskins Could Wait Until Game Time To Announce Week 5 QB
5 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said he might not make a decision on who the starting quarterback is for Week 5 against the Patriots "until 1 pm on Sunday." Case Keenum (foot) was in a walking boot on Wednesday, so he's unlikely to play this weekend, especially after being benched early in Week 4. Colt McCoy has the most experience in Gruden's offense, having been with the team since 2014. Rookie Dwayne Haskins could be the long-term franchise QB, but he looked bad and threw three picks against a bad Giants Defense in relief of Keenum last week. Whoever is under center for the 'Skins this week against a stout Patriots Defense needs to be avoided in fantasy.
