Andy Isabella To Play Outside Receiver
5 years agoArizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Andy Isabella will mostly play outside receiver "for the time being," according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Pharoh Cooper, who was just re-signed this week, will be the second slot receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald in four-wide sets in Week 5 against the Bengals. It means that Isabella and Trent Sherfield will likely split snaps on the outside opposite rookie Keesean Johnson, with Fitz in the slot. Christian Kirk and Damiere Byrd are unlikely to play due to their injuries. Isabella should see the most playing time he's had in his rookie season, but it might not translate to fantasy success, even in a good matchup with Cincy. Isabella still isn't much of a redraft option.
