Christian Yelich Not Ruling Out Postseason Return
5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (knee) said he won't rule out a potential return if the Brewers reach the World Series. "It would be cutting it close, but you can’t rule anything out," Yelich said. Milwaukee first has to win the National League wild-card game against the Nationals on Tuesday night. It's a long shot to happen, but Yelich would be a huge boost to the Brew Crew lineup if he made it back deep into the postseason. The 2018 NL MVP was putting up MVP numbers again this year before his injury, slashing .329/.429/.671 with 44 home runs, 97 RBI and 30 stolen bases in 130 games. Trent Grisham is hoping to pick up the slack if the Brewers make it past the Nats.
