5 years agoDetroit Lions rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson (concussion) came down hard on his shoulder and head in Week 4 against the Chiefs after trying to leap a defender. He was apparently unconscious and was being evaluated for a concussion before being carted off the field. Hockenson had three catches for 27 yards and a touchdown before leaving, so at least he was able to help his fantasy owners. It's unlikely that Hockenson returns after his scary looking injury. The good news is that Detroit is on bye in Week 5, so the impressive rookie tight end might not have to miss any time, depending on his diagnosis. If Hockenson is forced to miss any time, Jesse James would be next in line at the position.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
