5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has a good chance to make his season debut in Week 4 against the Dolphins with Justin Jackson (calf) now out possibly for multiple weeks. The Chargers aren't ready to give Gordon the lead-back role -- that still belongs to Austin Ekeler for another week -- but he's physically ready to get some carries and get his feet wet this weekend. Gordon will be mixed in with Troymaine Pope behind Ekeler against Miami, but his workload should be too limited and unpredictable to warrant using him in fantasy lineups. Next week against Denver he should return to a fantasy relevant role, although he could still be somewhat limited.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
