Rodney Hood 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazer shooting guard/small forward Rodney Hood is coming off another rollercoaster season and it is hard to believe that this sniper averaged 16.8 points a game just two seasons ago. Hood did come to life in the postseason for the Blazers and this led them to bring the young wing back on a two-year deal. They also brought in Kent Bazemore who will definitely eat into Hood's minutes. Both of these players are capable of playing multiple positions, so we should still be able to see Hood play minutes in the mid to late 20's. This is more than enough for Hood to return close to his form from a couple of years ago. Even when Hood is rolling, he does not offer much outside of points and threes and really, he holds more value in point leagues. Hood is still worth being selected in late round in all formats this season and we may finally see the breakout of Hood's potential we have hoped for in previous years.
