Monte Morris 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Monte Morris arrived last season in Denver with excellent numbers of 10.3 points, 3.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 steals across just 24.0 minutes of action. Morris’ value takes a massive spike as he averaged just 0.6 turnovers a night which is incredible from the point guard spot. Let’s not stop there as he put up a near-elite shooting split of .493/.414/.802, yes it was a small sample size, but those percentages cannot be overlooked. There are many mouths to feed in the Mile High and it is just a matter of time before other young teams will be knocking on the Nuggets’ door for the services of Morris. If and when this does occur, Morris has the potential to be an above-average starting guard in this league. In the meantime, he is a late-round pick in redraft formats with higher consideration in dynasty leagues.
