T.J. Warren 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoIndiana Pacers forward T.J. Warren was producing an excellent season last year for the Phoenix Suns before being shut down. The Suns had a massive logjam at the forward spots and they then unloaded Warren’s salary to the Pacers in the offseason. The Pacers benefited from the acquisition with Bojan Bogdanovic leaving for the Jazz. With the Pacers thin at the small forward spot, we can easily see Warren getting 30-plus minutes a contest and will get some minutes at the four when they go smaller. Saying this, Warren has excellent upside this season and after adding a reliable three-point shot (1.8 makes on 42.9% shooting), to go along with a solid 1.2 steals a night and with Victor Oladipo returning from his quad injury, we could easily see Warren breaking out this season in a Pacers’ uniform. He will most likely be available in mid-to-late rounds and is definitely worth adding to your draft watchlists.
