Frank Gore A Big Winner With McCoy Gone
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Frank Gore is one of the big winners as a result of the team cutting lead running back LeSean McCoy. Gore seemed to be set as the #2 rusher for the team heading into the year behind McCoy and now, he's likely going to be the starter on opening day. While Gore's value certainly goes up, there are still two main factors that should prevent him from rising too high in drafts. First, the 36-year-old Gore isn't likely set to handle a bell-cow type of workload, at least for a full season. Second, the emergence of promising rookie Devin Singletary could relegate Gore back to #2 status as soon as Singletary bursts for his first big gain. Gore's worthy of a late-round pick and he might be startable in deep leagues at the start of the year, but don't be too hopeful that the veteran will deliver for you.
