Eagles Defense Should Get Off to a Good Start This Season
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles Defense isn't likely to be an elite fantasy unit this season, but they may get off to a good start with a Week 1 game against the Washington Redskins. The Eagles will be without Michael Bennett, Chris Long, and Jordan Hicks, who combined for 18.5 sacks last season. They'll need new Eagles Zach Brown and Malik Jackson to join Derek Barnett to make up for all that missing talent. Overall, the Eagles defense was disappointing last season and are shaping up for a somewhat similar year. They'll be good enough to plug-and-play when they have good matchups, but probably shouldn't be a defense you draft and expect to start each and every week.
