Mike Williams Snags Big Catch
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams hauled in a 28-yard catch on his only target in the team's first preseason game. Williams likely won't see a whole lot of action in the preseason since he's the team's clear-cut No. 2 receiver and has enough of an injury history to cause concern. The first-round pick is entering his third season, and it will be his first as one of the team's primary targets now that Tyrell Williams is gone. Keenan Allen will still rule the roost, but Mike Williams should see a lot of looks for the Chargers, especially if Melvin Gordon continues to hold out. With Philip Rivers slinging the rock, Williams could be in for a true breakout season.
