Jared Cook Looking For A Solid Season In NOLA
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook will look to continue the efficient play that he had in Oakland the year before. Finishing the 2018 season with a career-best 68 receptions (101 targets), 896 yards, and six touchdowns, the journeyman signed a two-year deal with the team this past offseason. Now in a system that saw Jimmy Graham emerge as one of the league’s best tight ends, Cook will now be tasked with being a go-to target for quarterback Drew Brees. The veteran has had an excellent camp and with a weak 2019 tight end class, Cook could easily be a solid bargain for those managers looking to hold off on filling that position until the later rounds of fantasy drafts.
