5 years agoThe Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Ramon Laureano (shin) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a stress reaction in his right shin, according to manager Bob Melvin. "We're going to have to shut him down for a period of time," Melvin said. "He's not going to be back in 10 days." The 25-year-old leads the A's with a .284 batting average and is third with 21 home runs and second with 58 RBI, so it's a big loss for the club both offensively and defensively. Keep him stashed in all formats for however long he's out. Mark Canha should see regular playing time and is having a fine season overall, so he's an option to be added in mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
