5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (thumb) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Molina is dealing with a strained thumb tendon, so it's unclear how long he's going to be sidelined. He was struggling with the bat since returning from the injured list, so it's probably a good idea to give him some extra rest. Matt Wieters will continue to draw the starts behind the plate. Wieters hasn't been great with the bat, but he'll get a chance here to show his worth.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
