5 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery (elbow, shoulder) is heading to New York to undergo an MRI exam on his left shoulder, according to manager Aaron Boone. Montgomery is on the mend from Tommy John surgery and had to cut his throwing session short on Tuesday due to discomfort in his arm. The Yankees were hoping to have Montgomery as an option for their rotation at some point in August, but that might have to be pushed back now, depending on the results of the MRI. Montgomery probably won't be a fantasy option in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
