Alex Collins 2019 Player Outlook: Wait, He's Still in the NFL?
5 years agoDo you participate in a 20 team redraft league? What about a 30 man roster league? A super deep dynasty league? Does your league have 16 teams and 40 man rosters plus a full taxi squad? Regardless of whatever format your league is, do not draft Alex Collins. If you roster him, drop him immediately. He is so incredibly bad at football. He literally has nothing going for him. He's a sub athlete. He has average speed. He has no draft capital as a fifth round pick. He was one of the worst backs in the league last year from a performance standpoint. He lost his job to Gus Edwards and currently is not on an NFL roster. Spoiler alert: no one is going to sign him, especially after his offseason arrest. Talented players get a pass for off the field issues. The Alex Collinses of the world do not. We have already seen Collins' last snap as an NFL player. His best shot at any modicum of fantasy relevance will be February as a potential member of the XFL.
