Mookie Betts Find Stands Tuesday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts' only hit, Tuesday night, was a solo home run in the ninth inning of a 9-5 loss to the Rangers. Betts has hit safely in four straight games, but his average sits at just .267. Now the Red Sox's leadoff hitter, the 26-year-old is more of an on-base machine than a run producer, hosting a .386 OBP%. His counting stats lineup as 11 home runs, 30 RBI, 52 runs scored, with six stolen bases. Betts will continue to be valued as one of the best fantasy options in baseball, especially in OBP leagues, but his RBI totals may not round up to previous levels.
