Tyler Glasnow Ramping Up To 90 Feet
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm) said he's feeling good and is "coming along according to schedule." He has been throwing at 75 feet and will next advance to 90 feet. The 25-year-old right-hander was one of the best hurlers in baseball before his injury, going 6-1 with a 1.86 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 48 1/3 innings over his eight starts. Glasnow is one of the best young arms in the game at the moment and needs to be held in all leagues. Barring any setbacks in his rehab, he could return to the Rays rotation sometime in the middle of July around the All-Star break.
