Mets Considering Putting Robinson Cano Back On Injured List
6 years agoThe New York Mets are now seriously considering putting second baseman Robinson Cano (quadriceps) back on the injured list. The move could be made after they evaluate him on Sunday morning, according to manager Mickey Callaway. Cano came off the injured list on Friday and hurt himself again and hasn't played since. He can be dropped in most mixed leagues if he goes back on the shelf since he's hitting a disappointing .238/.284/.366 with only three home runs, 15 runs and 14 RBI in his first season in Queens. Jeff McNeil will likely see most of the starts at the keystone if Cano goes back on the injured list.
