Robert Foster 2019 Outlook: Underrated Playmaker In A Fledgling Offense
6 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Robert Foster was undrafted out of the University of Alabama, but he made his presence known in the latter half of 2018. Ending the season with 27 receptions, 541 yards, and three touchdowns, Foster became one of the few bright spots in Buffalo’s offense. All three scores came in the Bills' final six games. Buffalo added deep threat John Brown and possession receiver Cole Beasley, but Foster has earned his place as a playmaker with quarterback Josh Allen. He led the NFL with 20.6 Target Air Yards, which is impressive. However, his 60 Catch % proves his ability make things happen down field. Building chemistry with Allen can only benefit Foster. While his role might not be established coming into the season heading into 2019, the second-year receiver should be give plenty of chances to continue his strong end to 2018. His draft value lies solely in dynasty formats, but if he continues an upward trend with Allen, he could prove to be the top target in Buffalo, making him a solid dart throw at the very back-end of re-draft formats.
