Joe Staley Signs Two-Year Extension
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley signed a two-year contract extension on Thursday through the 2021 season. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The first-round pick in 2007 has started all 174 regular season games he's played in in his 12-year career. He was an All-Pro in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and has been selected to six Pro Bowls. Despite his age (34 years old), Staley is one of the best left tackles in the game and will be charged with protecting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo the next couple of seasons.
