Mo Alie-Cox Has Shown Improvement
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox, who is working as the No. 1 tight end in offseason workouts with Jack Doyle (hip) and Eric Ebron (groin) out, has shown incredible improvement from where he was two years ago. However, barring injuries to Doyle and/or Ebron during the year, Alie-Cox will have a limited role in the offense. “Very tangible indicators that he can develop into a very good route runner,” head coach Frank Reich said. “He is so long and big, they don’t want to tackle him.” Alie-Cox will mostly be used for blocking when Doyle and Ebron are healthy, so he won't be on the fantasy radar to begin the year.
