Andrew Cashner Moved Back To Saturday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner (leg) has been pushed back from Thursday to Saturday against the Astros due to some minor leg soreness after his last start. David Hess will take the mound on Thursday against the Rangers, with Gabriel Ynoa going on Friday against Houston. Cashner is 6-2 on the year but has a 5.04 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, 25 walks and 48 strikeouts in 64 1/3 innings over 12 starts for the O's. A shaky walk rate, mediocre strikeout rate and the fact he's pitching for the lowly Orioles in a home hitter's park are all red flags for fantasy owners. We'd highly advise against using Cashner in a tough matchup against the 'Stros this weekend.
