Wade Davis Throws BP Wednesday
6 years agoColorado Rockies closer Wade Davis (oblique) had a positive round of live batting practice on Wednesday and his return to the Rockies is getting closer. The 33-year-old might need some rehab outings before he's activated from the injured list, but Davis shouldn't be out much longer. He had a 2.45 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, seven saves and 18 strikeouts in 14 2/3 relief innings before his injury. Davis should immediately return to the closing role when he's ready and needs to remain owned everywhere. Scott Oberg has done a nice job in his absence, but he'll lose most of his fantasy value when Davis is back.
