Peter Lambert To Make Debut Thursday
6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Peter Lambert will be called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to make his major league debut against the Cubs on Thursday. The 22-year-old is 2-2 with a 5.07 ERA in 11 starts on the farm this year but has shown electric stuff at times. He was the team's second-round pick in 2015 and has a 3.92 career ERA in the minors. MLB Pipeline lists Lambert as the Rockies No. 4 prospect. This could just be a spot start for the right-hander, and the matchup is a dangerous one, so we'd advise most fantasy owners to sit this one out.
