Josh Harrison To Have Surgery This Week, Out 6-8 Weeks
6 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Josh Harrison (hamstring) will undergo surgery later this week that will sideline him for six to eight weeks. Harrison's 2019 season was essentially over before it even started. He's gone on the injured list twice already and was hitting .176/.219/.265 with a homer, eight RBI and four stolen bases in 136 at-bats. He should've already been dropped in all mixed leagues, and those in AL-only formats can likely follow suit. Gordon Beckham, Brandon Dixon, Ronny Rodriguez and Harold Castro will mix and match up the middle for the time being.
