Andrew McCutchen is Done for the Year
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen (knee) is out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee. He suffered the injury during a rundown in San Diego on Monday. He was having a surprisingly strong season in Philly, so this news is going to hurt tons of fantasy owners. Adam Haseley has been called up, so he should see plenty of at-bats the rest of the way out. The Phillies may look to add another outfield bat as the season rolls on. Newly-acquired Jay Bruce and youngster Haseley will look to fill the void right now.
