Mike Zunino Back From Injured List, Tommy Pham Out
6 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays activated catcher Mike Zunino (quadriceps) from the injured list on Friday and he's back behind the plate and hitting eighth against Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios. Outfielder Tommy Pham (calf) is out of the lineup after being pulled with a calf cramp on Thursday as a precaution. He should be able to return on Saturday. Guillermo Heredia is starting in right field and is hitting ninth. Also, Christian Arroyo is at third base and is batting fifth in his return to the big leagues. Arroyo is a deep DFS sleeper, while Heredia should be ignored. Zunino is valuable in two-catcher leagues because of his power, but he certainly won't do you any favors in the average department. Catcher Erik Kratz was designated for assignment to make room for Zunino.
