Jarvis Landry Sitting Out Of Practices
6 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been watching organized team activities and will likely do the same next week at mandatory minicamp, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens. Landry is nursing a minor undisclosed injury that has kept him out of all OTAs, but Kitchens said Landry hasn't undergone surgery. The team is keeping Landry out of action as a precaution, so he should be fine for training camp. The 26-year-old is unlikely to produce another 1,000-yard season like he did twice with the Dolphins, including two 100-plus catch seasons, especially with star Odell Beckham Jr. in the fold. However, Landry has had at least 81 receptions in his five seasons in the NFL and will remain relevant in point-per-reception formats in this rising offense.
