Monte Harrison Lands On Injured List In Minors
6 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Monte Harrison (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day minor league injured list on Tuesday with a hamstring strain that he initially suffered at Triple-A New Orleans on Saturday. Harrison is the team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and has hit .288/.386/.472 with seven home runs, 18 RBI and 19 steals in 20 attempts in 43 games for the Baby Cakes. The 23-year-old should eventually get a call-up to Miami later this summer and is worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues right now. He's ranked as MLB's No. 95 overall prospect and should be useful in deep mixed and NL-only leagues for his speed when he's called up.
