5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) doesn't expect to land on the injured list after leaving his start early on Monday with a right middle finger nail avulsion. Sanchez was pulled after allowing one run in three innings against the Rays on Monday. He's dealt with finger injuries all too often over the last few seasons, so it wouldn't be surprising for him to miss at least one start. However, the right-hander doesn't seem too concerned and might be able to make his next start. Sanchez has been valuable in most mixed leagues with a 3.75 ERA and 8.40 K/9 in his 12 starts so far this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
