Didi Gregorius Moving Rehab To Triple-A
6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius (elbow) will move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday. Manager Aaron Boone said over the weekend that it Gregorius could be one or two weeks away from a return. Gregorius is returning quickly from Tommy John surgery and should be scooped up in all leagues if he's available on the waiver wire. He'll return to starting shortstop duties in the Bronx when he's ready after hitting .268/.335/.494 with a career-high 27 home runs, 86 RBI, 89 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 134 games last year. Gregorius has 20-plus home runs in each of the last three seasons.
