Joey Logano Settles For Second At Charlotte
6 years agoPenske Racing driver Joey Logano ended up having to settle for second place in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, as he was just unable to get in front of Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. on a final restart. It was close for Logano and the Penske Racing team, which saw Simon Pagenaud claim checkers at the Indianapolis 500 earlier in the day. Logano will look to keep up the good work at Pocono next week. He has one win, four Top 5s and seven Top 10s with 275 laps led in 20 career starts at Long Pond while posting a 17.5 Average-Finish Position.
