6 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Peter Alonso (rest) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. The slugging rookie will get the day off to rest, but will be back in there next game. Dominic Smith will play first base and bat second versus righty Spencer Turnbull. Smith is actually hitting well for once at the MLB level, but won't have much DFS value against Turnbull, who has a 2.68 ERA coming into this one.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
